We spent this weekend selecting and decorating our new Christmas tree. We took a nice trip to the North Shore, got lost, and eventually found the Christmas tree farm we went to last year. It took us a while but eventually we found our tree. It looked reasonably sized at the farm, but needed to be shortened once we got it home in order to clear our ceiling. Now it's all decorated and looks great!
Well, I had meant to put up more pictures of our Maine vacation, and here they are. Other than mountain climbing, we spent much of our time relaxing on dock and enjoying the pond.
These are from our trip into Acadia National Park during our week in Maine. We climbed Gorham Mountain. It was a great hike and the peak provided panoramic views of dense fog. Ben is now a very enthusiastic mountain climber...he completed several fairly long and steep hikes all by himself.
